Text

I remember many years ago
As I would turn on my radio
Listening to Radio-Luxemburg
Playing the hit parade
Every time I was feeling oh so fine
When I heard the songs they played

Those old favourite melodies
With that shooaa dooaa
Ring ding a dong still make me freeze

Those old favourite melodies
And every now and then
I recall those days again
When they're playing my favourite melodies

I was dreaming there would come a day
When the teenage girls would dream of me
Oh, then I would be a superstar
Playing the heavy beat
But I never became a superstar
But I still have my memories

Those old favourite melodies
With that shooaa dooaa
Ring ding a dong still make me freeze

Those old favourite melodies
And every now and then
I recall those days again
When they're playing my favourite melodies

Ohhh, ohh, those old favourite melodies
With that shooaa dooaa
Ring ding a dong still make me freeze

Those old favourite melodies
And every now and then
I recall those days again
When they're playing my favourite melodies

Melodies
Melodies
Melodies!
